The UNCG Residence Halls close for the 2009 Summer Session on:

Summer Break Housing

Students who currently live on campus in the residence halls for Summer School and have an assignment to live in the residence halls for the upcoming Fall 2009 semester may sign up for summer break housing. There will be a charge of $360 placed on the student's account for this break housing. This charge is not pro-rated, meaning it is the same charge if you stay for 1 day or for the entire break housing period.

Students signing up for break housing will be housed in Mendenhall Hall for the break period (Noon, Friday, July 31, 2009 through 8:00am Friday, August 14, 2009). Break housing students must pick up their break housing room key and access fob between 8:00am to Noon on Friday, July 31, 2009. Summer break housing students must move into their break housing assignment and return their summer session room key and access fob to Housing & Residence Life by 5:00pm Friday, July 31, 2009.

On Friday, August 14, 2009, students assigned to summer break housing will come to Housing & Residence Life, located in Ragsdale/Mendenhall Residence Halls, between 8:00am and 12:00pm Noon to pick up their Fall 2009 assignment room key and access fob. Summer break housing students will need to be completely moved into their Fall 2009 assignment and return their summer break housing room key and access fob to Housing & Residence Life by 5:00pm on Friday, August 14, 2009.

The deadline to sign up for summer break housing is Noon Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Summer break housing requests will not be taken after Noon on July 28, 2009. Break housing is not guaranteed. Requests will be honored to the best of our availability.
