Third Annual Wacky-Tacky Prom
and Free Prom Attire Giveaway

On March 31, between 100-125 students attended the third annual Wacky Tacky Prom on the patios connecting Grogan and Reynolds. A talented DJ and delicious free food created a fun and festive atmosphere for participants. At this event, several students came dressed in their tackiest attire to dance the night away. But the night wasn't all about dancing.

Prom attire donations were collected prior to this social event and subsequently, on April 3, a Prom Attire Giveaway was hosted by the Ragsdale/Mendenhall staff. At the giveaway, the Ragsdale/Mendenhall staff helped approximately 30-40 high school students to "shop" for dresses, shoes, and make up for their big night. No one left empty-handed and approximately 75% of the items were distributed, including goodie bags.
