Lofts on Lee at UNCG

UNCG has recently acquired Lofts on Lee at 915 West Lee Street (see the video below). This facility will be managed as UNCG's first 12-month contract property.

This facility offers a variety of housing options, including 1 bed/1 bath, 2 bed/2 bath, & 4 bed/4 bath apartment options. These options vary in size (with square footage ranging from 550 sq. ft. to 1695 sq. ft.), depending on the type of apartment chosen. Services that are currently offered to other residence halls will also be offered to Lofts on Lee (FIXT work order system, one staff assistant, cable service, internet/wireless internet service, etc.).

In addition to these services, the following are also a part of the Lofts on Lee experience:

• A private bathroom for each resident
• A full-size washer and dryer for each apartment
• Modern kitchens with built-in microwaves and kitchen islands
• Granite countertops in the kitchens
• Air conditioning
• Ceiling fans
• Walk-in closets (varies by apartment)
• Stained concrete floors (varies by apartment)
• Frieze-style carpet
• Patio/Balcony (varies by apartment)
• Controlled entrance access to each apartment

Some other considerations:

• There will be no meal plan requirement for Loft on Lee residents
• As a reference point, the bedrooms and living room areas of these apartments are larger than those in Spring Garden Apartments
• Parking costs will be $175/year
• Students living at Lofts on Lee will receive mail service on site at Lofts on Lee
• Parking Operations & Campus Access Management will operate the Spartan Chariot between Lofts on Lee and various points on campus
• Apartments will be outfitted with basic furniture needs, including:
  • Living Room: single seat chair, eco-leather, dark brown; 3 seat sofa, eco-leather, dark brown; coffee table, solid wood construction, cherry; end table, solid wood construction, cherry
  • Bed Room: Double Bed (adjustable); three drawer pedestal and desk with one drawer; three drawer chest; all cherry color
  • Note: there is plenty of room in bedroom and living room for additional furniture provided by student
• Housing & Residence Life and University policies and procedures will still be in effect (e.g., no pets except fish, no smoking in or around the complex, no underage drinking, no public displays of alcohol, etc.)

How Do I Sign Up?

If you are interested in signing up for an apartment at Lofts on Lee, please complete the interest form found at the link below. Please note that priority for filling Lofts on Lee will first be given to those students who can completely fill an apartment (see the interest form for more information about criteria for potential roommates).

For priority consideration, interest sign-ups received before May 6, 2011 will be given first consideration and of those interests sign-ups received before May 6, those who can completely fill an apartment will be given top consideration.
