2009-2010 Housing Application for New Students has opened!

Congratulations on being accepted to UNCG and for choosing to want to live on campus in our residence halls.  UNCG offers a variety of campus living options and we encourage you to explore our website to view information on our residence halls prior to completing your application for housing:

IMPORTANT
It is imperative that before you start the housing application process, you need to activate your UNCG computer account (which includes your iSpartan email) in order to be able to login to our system to sign-up for housing.  Once you activate your account with UNCG, you will need to wait 4 hours before you try to login to sign up for housing. This timeframe allows time for your account to be activated and for the information to be imported into our assignments system.

If you have not already done so, please go and activate your account now.

Some things to keep in consideration when completing your application for housing:

• Roommate requests will be honored to the best of our ability.  You will need to have the University ID number of the person you are requesting as a roommate to enter in the system. 
  
  
• Your requested roommate will also need to have been accepted as a student at UNCG in order to be pulled up in our system.  Roommate requests will also need to be mutual (roommates requesting one another) in order for roommates to be assigned together.
  
  
• If you have a special need that needs to be considered when making your housing assignment, please log back into our assignments system again once you have submitted your housing application, select “Step One-Apply” then “Special Housing Needs” and complete the form to let us know of your special request.
  
  
• You will be able to update your meal plan, building, and roommate preferences at anytime up until you have been made an assignment.  To update your preferences, log back into the housing assignments system, select “Step One-Apply” and then “Update Room/Plan Preferences” or “Update Roommate Preferences.”

Please be sure to regularly check your UNCG iSpartan email account, as this will be the primary means by which we communicate information to you.

Please take note that this application is also being used to sign up for summer school sessions so please remember to select "2009-2010 New Applications" for the application period in order to sign up for housing starting in Fall 2009.
