GuilfordUNCGStrong College residents proposed and received a Green Fund Grant, and in collaboration with the Sustainability Office, distributed compost buckets and liners, with filters, to students who signed up (including a signed commitment to separating their waste and properly caring for their bins). Two interns from Strong and an Ashby volunteer checked each participating room once per week. Residents empty their compost into a large bin located behind Mary Foust, and the interns wheel it to Spartan Dining for disposal regularly.6034
