Cancel Housing

All residential students are bound by the Housing and Dining contract they agree to at the time they submit their housing application. The housing contract is the best place to start if you are considering cancelling your housing.

2025-26 Housing Cancellations

Please review the 25-26 Housing Contract to see if you are eligible to cancel your Housing for the 2025-26 academic year. If so, you will need to the Housing and Residence Life Office located in Ragsdale-Mendenhall. If your Housing Contract is canceled your meal plan will also be canceled.

APPEAL YOUR HOUSING CONTRACT

Please be sure to review the current Housing Contract prior to submitting an appeal for any information related to your appeal request. You are not released from the terms of the contract until your appeal has been reviewed and a decision is reported to you at your @uncg.edu email address.
