Spring 2026 Check-In Information
The Residence Halls open for Spring 2026 on Thursday, January 8
Returning Students
Returning Residents may re-enter and stay in their Spring 2026 assignments using their Spartan Card for Access to their hall beginning at 8 am on January 8th.
New Students
New Residents for Spring 2026 will need to check in at the Housing Office in Ragsdale-Mendenhall on Thursday January 8 or Friday, January 8 between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm to pick up their room key for their Spring 2026 Room Assignment. New Residents must bring their UNCG Spartan Card to pick up their key and gain access to their residence hall. If you do not have a Spartan Card, please go to the Spartan Card Center in Moran Commons to pick up a card between 8 am and 4 pm Monday thru Friday.
Early Move In
Students needing to move in early can complete an early arrival request form in ARTEMIS beginning in December. This form will close TBD Early arrival begins at 8 am on Tuesday, January 6, and will go through Wednesday, January 7. The Early Arrival Charge is $50 and will be placed on your student account in February.
Students checking in on the weekend will contact their RA to check in from 10-10.
