Summer Conference Assistant

rom Mid-May to late July, the Summer Conference Assistant (SCA) works with Housing & Residence Life to provide customer service and assistance to summer orientation, camps and conferences, and summer housing residents. Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

1. Check in & check out of summer orientation students and conference guests.  
2. Serving in an on-call duty rotation.
3. Working at the front desk of residence halls.
4. Conducting room checks prior to conference arrivals
5. Have a fun summer with CRL Sharese!
6. The stipend is $2200 paid out in two installments and free housing in the assigned Summer Residence Hall. 

SCA Requirements:  

• Ability to start Monday May 11 and work through July 31st  
• Have lived on campus for a minimum of one semester.  
• Possess a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher at the time of application.  
• Be enrolled in classes at the university for the Fall 2026 semester.  
• Be committed to employment for the entire summer upon initial hire.  
• Must have Thursday evenings from 4-6pm available (mandatory).  
• Be in good conduct standing with the University at the time of hire. During the period of employment, SCAs must not be found in violation of any University policies or procedures.  
• Pass a federal background check to be conducted once the position is offered and accepted. Failure to pass will result in rescinding the job offer.
