New Resident Advisor

Housing and Residence Life is seeking strong candidates to join our Resident Advisor team for the 2025-2026 Academic Year! The Resident Advisor (RA) position is the principal student leadership position within the residence halls here at the UNCG. Resident Advisors are selected on the basis of their potential and ability to provide leadership and service to students living in the halls. The position requires Resident Advisors to provide maximum availability to on-campus students. Resident Advisor responsibilities are often non-scheduled, spontaneous, and determined by the needs and expectations of the students within a community. As a part of the Resident Advisor experience, our student staff members will develop skills to become global leaders, resilient humans, critical thinkers, and community builders.

Requirements at a Glance: 

• A minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA
• Not on any active conduct standing (e.g. warning, probation, etc.) as of the start of the Spring 2025 semester
• No previous experience as a Resident Advisor required
• Previous experience living on campus

Office Assistants serve an important role in the overall functionality of HRL, being direct resources to our residential students, campus constituents, and guests while serving as a bridge to those resources that exist on campus and in the local to global community. As a part of the Office Assistant experience, our student staff members will develop skills to become critical thinkers and experienced communicators.

The application consists of TWO parts: the Qualtrics Application and the Big Interview. The Qualtrics application is a questionnaire that shouldn’t take you more than a few minutes.
